I got this on a slickguns discount, ended up being $6 each, bought 3 + free ship = $18. It runs on a single AA battery, the cap has a o-ring seal for some water resistance and is decent enough for everyday usage or in the car. the light itself are the square leds and to focus you pull on the projector area. at max focus you can see the outline of the leds which make a square fist or cat5 plug shaped throw. the light is enough to disorient/blind for a moment, but i would stil prefer something with more output and a strobe effect.

Though cheap i should warn you, coming from china it took a month (Jan13-Feb13) to get here. wouldnt use it for true tactical purposes, but for an everyday light was worth the price.

we have a cornwell tool guy come to my shop, this is a pretty nice light, except for $113, it wasnt worth it to me. Maybe for $50-60, but it does have hi, med, lo, and strobe. pretty bright as well.

hmm doesnt say how bright it is... did you get to try it out? that is pricey, probably due to rechargable feature

yeah I tried it out, strobe feature would definitely disorient someone. This is another one Up to 18,000 candela (peak beam intensity) and up to 160 lumens measured system output

I guess the one you posted is brighter

Here are sample views at a range of 10 feet

here you can see the sharp square cuts of the LED

270

here you see the wide beam perfectly round. notice that the throw is relatively even and fades nicely on the outer
