This car has never been waxed or polished it's whole life, and looked like someone washed it with sand paper. Me to the rescue!

What I used:

I've never used this product before (Turtle Wax Black Box) and figured this would be a good car to test it on. The cleaner, wax and detail spray is black, looks like paint.

The outcome:

Notice the difference that the pre wax cleaner is already making? man this paint was rough.

After wax

Still some scratches in the paint, the customer didn't want a cut polish or wet sand with it..

Dang this turned out amazing! Where can you pick up that turtle wax stuff at? I have a black car that could really use a shine like yours!

Thumbsup!

I'm sure you can pick the box up anywhere that sells car cleaning supplies. I think this box came from Canadian Tire but not sure where you could get it in the states.

Make sure to give your car a good rub down with a clay bar first (after washing it of course) picks up any contaminants on the paint and leaves a nice smooth surface.
Also the instructions on the box were for doing it by hand but I used an orbital buffer

Thanks for the compliments!

Unfortunately the car is going to a car lot on Monday so I won't be able to keep track of long term results, like all wax it washes off eventually

Came out real nice.

You mention its like paint - is that really the case? If so you think it would work on metallic blacks? My bike's 30 year old paint could use some nice lovin'.
