Account Manager for a database marketing division in Pharmaceuticals. I went to college for business and got a job offer out of college to be a data jockey. That morphed into managing the accounts I was originally playing data miner for.

Originally I wanted to be a software engineer so my technical skills translated into a specialty set tied with my degree to support technical products in a business vertical.

Production engineer for a laser company. I was doing my undergraduates in physics and I did an internship a year before I graduated. I loved the work and they offered me a job for when I graduate, which was back in May.

I work for a small investment research firm. I do it because it's a chill work atmosphere, I learn a lot and find it interesting, and I have the education for it.

A/V coordinator at a few high end hotels in the metro-detroit area.
My buddy is the director at one of the properties, told me his company was hiring, and got me an interview.
It is somewhat related to what I went to school for.

Ballrooms and meeting/conference rooms.
Basically I setup, run and take down projectors, screens, audio systems, lighting, and some stage design stuff. We don't really do any permanent install work or anything like that.

P-Spec has the best job of us all I think.

I am a production manager for a laser engineering company. I have several friends that work for the company who got me a job as a laser welder. After about 6 months, the new position opened up but they gave it to another guy who had been working there for a few years. He could not commit to the new position due to personal reasons and I was the next guy in line for the position.

The people and the company I work with/for are so awesome, it will probably be my career for the rest of my life. I am switching my major (again) from computer science over to metallurgical engineering/mechanical engineering.

I went from being in sales for 8yrs, to a fire suppression company. We build industrial as well as commercial fire suppression systems, mainly dealing in FM-200, and novec systems. As well as fire suppression we do home, commercial and industrial detection, setup video surveillance systems, just some of the things we do. I didnt think i would like it at firs,t but im fucking loving this job. Going to korea for 2-3months in mid august to setup 24 systems we built for a oil platform going to the sakhalan (sp?) islands. From the minute i leave its time and a half and anything after 40hrs is double time :) i cant wait
