I'm excited for the Luck era, but I really miss Peyton's presence on the field.

Fuck playing in Denver.

Clark could have really helped us out last night.

However, offense looked good without Mendenall and the defense wasn't god awful. We have to get younger soon. Foote, Harrison, and Hampton all need suitable replacements in the next few years. Sucks missing DeCastro, too. Our offensive line is shit.

That was a good game, a Steelers loss is as satisfying and fun to watch as a Ravens win to me

Ravens looked great last night I'm really liking this new offensive approach. It's been obvious for the past couple years that Flacco is at his best in the shotgun and no huddle, im glad that stupid Cam Cameron finally realized it as well. Caldwell has also had an immediate impact coaching Flacco too it seems. Anyway I just hope they can keep it up since consistency has always been the main problem. Last year we started the same exact way when we blew out the Steelers to open the season, then the following week we went to Tennessee and played like shit and lost. We're going into Philly this time.

fucking ravens man. same old shit. 4 straight years losing week 2. passed on 3rd and short every single time this game, terrible 3rd down playcalling all game on both sides of the ball. pretty sure the eagles converted all but like 2 third down attempts, regardless of long or short. i don't know man

Yeah i just hope the packers either make the playoffs or miss them by more than one game, same but opposite for the seahawks, otherwise this might wind up being one of those asterisked tainted seasons for whoever the eventual champion is. Which if that is the case, do you still want your team to win it?

Ive drastically tempered my expectations for this season after the injuries coming out of last game. Our defense was already the worst its been in franchise history after 6 weeks, and now we're without 3/5 of our top star defensive players, so it can only get even worse. Losing Webb and Lewis for the season is devastating, Cary Williams is awful and Jimmy Smith isnt where he needs to be yet. Upshaw is still coming along and Kruger will never be the long term answer. Plus, Ed Reed is playing with a torn labrum in his shoulder so even he isnt 100%. That leaves us with Ngata. We get Suggs back in a few weeks which will help, but he wont be 100% either coming off an achilles injury.

I think we still have a good chance to take the division since Pittsburgh is also hurting and the Bengals arent threatening yet, but my expectations have lowered regardless.
