View Full Version : Home Gyms
Anyone have one? Whether it's an "all in one" machine or a basic setup. Looking for reviews and pricing. I've been considering doing something as basic as a power rack + bench with free weights or picking up a medium priced all in one system with some free weights. I have a space in the garage it could easily live in.

Buy a TV and do some P90X in that bitch.
If you want to go with a home gym setup, I'd go with.

Obviously you don't need to buy this shit new. Look on ebay/craigslist. You'll have a pretty sweet home gym and a lot more freedom to do shit. Fuck machines.
You can pretty much get dumbell sets anywhere if you want.

I just bought this bench:

It's great because the bench and the rack are independent of each other so you can pull the bench forward for more room to do different exercises and then slide it back to do bench press, etc.
I also have an ez-curl bar, an oval bar, 300 lbs of olympic weights, a set of bowflex selecttech dumbells (10-90 lbs), 25/40 lb/50 lb kettlebells, an exercise ball and a medicine ball...and non weight related I just picked up an olympic plate rack for organization and 160 sq ft of rubber puzzle mats for floor protection.
here's some of the stuff i bought:

I'll try to snap a pic of my set up later on. It works quite well.
That's essentially what I was thinking in terms of a setup minus the dips thing. Good stuff post some pics just curious to see.
