I wouldn't know. Never got into the photography of it. When I was into it it was still film and required a lot of skill. Is be interested to see some pics if you do it. I also have a t2i.

I don't know what i did but yeah big improvement. I make a habit of swiping of all the apps routinely and it seems to make a difference. I didn't really think apps in the background took any battery...
