Any hardware that Windows Server supports you can use. People like to take old Pentium 3 machines and turn them into Linux boxes.

Looking for a Server.
I need to buy a small server, just enough to run a forum and possibly a teramspeak.. maybe more, but i only need to run those 2 things.
anyone have one laying around?
Also i have a dumb question.. Do you have to build an actual server or could i just build a regular comp and run windows server on it?AKA Enigma

honestly i would just hitup newegg on a sale day and buy a decent machine with a CRAP ton of ram for like 350-400 bones.

newegg has one on their shell shocker right now for today thats $288 for a quad core 8GB of ram. thatd be a decent server minus the ram limitations...but itd run Linux like a boss for sure
